Swifty invites you to explore year-end gift giving options that are good for you and good for pediatric brain cancer research!

Donating Your IRA Distributions

Some of our more “seasoned” donors have found that giving a gift directly from their IRA is an easy and efficient way to support Swifty. Individuals who are 70 ½ or older may transfer up to $100,000 a year directly from their traditional or Roth IRA to the Swifty Foundation. The amount of the transfer will not be included in your taxable income, and the transferred amount can count toward your required minimum distribution.

How to make your gift: contact your IRA custodian and request that a distribution be made directly to Swifty Foundation. Provide your IRA custodian with our tax ID number, 46-1853577, and contact information:

Donating Your Appreciated Securities

Enjoy double benefits! Receive an immediate income tax deduction on the fair market value of the stock you donate and avoid paying any capital gains tax. To make your gift of securities, call us at 630-723-1109 or email info@swiftyfoundation.org.

Talk to Nick

Our friend, Nick Parker, has been making it a yearly practice to donate his birthday to Swifty … thank you, Nick! He is a financial planner at Edward Jones and is available to answer any questions you may have about your charitable giving. No pressure … we promise … he just wants to help Swifty.
Just Email Nick: Nicholas.Parker@edwardjones.com
