Fundraise for Swifty
You can support pediatric brain cancer research by creating a peer-to-peer fundraising event. It is easy, fun and the very best way to get more people involved in the fight. Swifty has raised over $350,000 from people just like you who said yes to hosting a fundraiser!
A peer-to-peer fundraising event is any activity you participate in that creates a reason for you to tell friends, family and colleagues about the need to help kids with cancer. Use social media to tell them about your event and invite them to help by making a donation to the Swifty Foundation (we will give you lots of tips!).
Events might involve a physical challenge such as running, swimming or biking. Or you might want to organize a personal challenge like shaving or growing hair. Events can celebrate a milestone like a birthday or anniversary. Or get together with others and plan a whiffle ball tourney, golf outing or garage sale.
It is this easy:
- Dream up your event. It may be something you are already planning like running a 5K or celebrating a birthday. Or create something meaningful (like a prayer vigil), fun (like a lemonade stand) or silly (like wearing a clown nose for a day…you will get lots of people asking you why and you can be ready to tell them).
- Complete the form below (scroll down please) and upload any pictures or images for your event.
- We will use that information to create a webpage for your event on the Swifty website.
- We will then send you a link to your event webpage and suggestions for promoting your event.
- Distribute your webpage link to your peers via email, Facebook and Twitter.
