It’s not often you wake up to an email that starts with, “My business partner and I would like to donate to your foundation.”  But boy when it does, it’s incredible! That’s an email I received back in December and now, Marker & Crannell Attorneys at Law are the sponsors of Swifty’s website! It gets even better. Jonathan Crannell and Jason Marker ‘s kids go to school in our district and Cara Crannell was Michael’s junior high teacher! She has been donating at Kennedy Junior High fundraisers for Swifty over the years and now her husband’s law firm has given this great gift. They even challenged their employees to a matching grant during our Annual Appeal, matching them dollar for dollar. It goes a long way in the healing process to be a part of such a caring and generous community.

We will continue to highlight our business partners in coming newsletters. Here’s a bit about Marker & Crannell:

We are a Naperville personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm that exclusively represents injury victims (car and truck accidents, slip and fall, nursing home, medical malpractice, and injuries that happen on the job). Our team prides itself on providing personal, compassionate, and aggressive representation to ensure our clients get full justice for their injuries.  Check out www.marker-law.com for more information.

Patti Gustafson
Patti Gustafson is Michael, Bridget and Ian's mom and has been fortunate to be married to Al for 30 years. She's been grateful to live most of her life in Naperville surrounded by her family and life-long friends. Her role at the Swifty Foundation is Chief Operating Officer.... which sounds impressive but really means she pitches in where she is needed!
