The Swifty Foundation needs Social Media Ambassadors to help spread our message and our reach.
Please consider becoming a Swifty Social Media Ambassador to help us spread awareness about pediatric cancer…. how unjustifiably underfunded it is, how few effective treatments there are, and the suffering a child endures when faced with a diagnosis. By becoming a Social Media Ambassador you can make a difference for those children. It’s easy to become an SMA and doesn’t require much time to participate. But you will make a difference.
The mission of the Swifty Social Media Ambassador (SMA) program is to increase awareness of the challenges facing pediatric cancer and the work Swifty is doing to help eliminate those challenges.
Ambassador Responsibilities:
- Ambassadors post about pediatric cancer on their own social media page. (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram) once a month using an appropriate hashtag
- SMAs will engage with Swifty on all their social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
- SMAs will share Swifty’s Facebook or Twitter posts at least weekly.
- SMAs will respond to all comments they receive with either a reply comment or a “Like.” It’s important to acknowledge any interest generating from your posts.
- SMAs will participate in at least two advocacy activities per year. (For example, when the RACE for Children Act was up for a vote in the Senate, SMAs would email, tweet and/or call their state representatives asking them to vote yes. We supply all wording for emails, tweets and calls and the look up information for your representative. It’s super easy and only takes a few minutes.)
Swifty SMA Support:
- All SMAs will receive a Swifty Fact Sheet that will give you the background, mission and achievements of Swifty so you can speak confidently about our organization.
- We will highlight individual SMAs on our website, newsletters and social media throughout the year to recognize the important work you are doing to raise awareness for children with cancer.
- Swifty will share Ambassador blogs (if any), Tweets, Facebook and Instagram posts on Swifty sites.
